Lots of loot for the kid! Mine loved Beverly Cleary and Louis Sachar when they were younger.
Love the long list!! I've only read Inkheart from yours, which I liked but didn't love.
Have to ask about the animal theme. Passion or current study unit? I've seen families like yours in my library. Your load alleviates any guilt I had prior to seeing you carry insanely full bags out of the library.
Any Asimov book is automatically great.
